Question:
Does anyone know what the in network cost is for lap? (unit. health care ins)

I know that if I stay in netwrk, my cost will be less, and with no ins. at all it would be 30,000....any ideas on overall cost w. the ins. discounted rates?    — Jenn J. (posted on March 29, 2003)

I just received my bill for a lap RNY using United Health Care. My bill was 22,199.00 and my part was only $150.00 and that was in network.

All contracted network rates are individually negotiated with the hospitals and providers. There is no one set rate.

My surgery was 46,000. My insurance covered everything. My co-pay for the hospital was $100 dollars.
