ANYONE KNOW IN CA. MEDI-MEDI PAYS FOR LAP RNY?

I have medicare. I'm not sure about medical (I bet they do). I had LAP RNY on 5-19-2003, and medicare paid, no pre approval necessary. I would start by finding a surgeon that accepts medicare, and they should walk you through the process of what all you need to have onhand to make sure they pay. I have Medical and my surgery is 3/5/04. And Medical is paying for the surgery. Where in CA are you? Beverly
