Question:
There IS a God!
Lucky me! After just 24 hours, my insurance company approved me! I am scheduled for surgery 11/28/00 at 9:15 AM! I'm soooo pleased! Now if I can stand the next two-month wait... <g> — Michelle F. (posted on September 25, 2000)

to get things in order and daydream about all the *great* adventures ahead

Michelle, I am so happy for you. Now you have the time to prepare and use
your time wisely. Get your house in order, because after surgery you will
need some recoupe time. Another great thing you can do for yourself is
drink lots of water every day, and try to eat wisely, and do what ever
exercise you can do to strengthen your body for surgery. One thing
everyone can do is breath deeply, and hold to expand and increase lung
capacity. Remember two weeks before surgery double up your vitamin intake,
and stop aspirin, vitamin E, St. Johns Wort, or anything that would thin
the blood. Check your meds. And good luck and think happy thoughts, Hugs
