I was on medicaid and now have medicare also, are my chances better with both

I live in Ohio & according to Dr. Jarock`s office here;medicare covers I don`t know of anyone personally on medicare that had the wls;but @ the support group mtg. there was a lady there who is now 66 & had wls 2yrs. ago & medicare covered hers.I don`t know if she had a secondary insurance.Good luck.

Hey, Don't know what state you are in, but MOST states, medicaid covers the weight loss surgery..Usually with the first approval. I am in Illinois and my girlfriend doctor told her that all medicaid patients have been approved. He said that they are great with covering this. I wish you God's speed on this. I'm sure everything will work out fine.
