Question:
Does anyone have Blue Cross/Blue Shield Alliance in Missouri?

My husband is considering taking a new job and they have BC/BS Alliance...now I am not sure if it is ppo/hmo, but they did state there were co-pays. So I am assuming it is PPO/HMO. I have the dreaded BCBS Alliance of Mo! To make a long story short, 2 denials based on exclusion, atty. didn't feel it could be overturned. I had to self-pay. It's been quite a hardship. BCBS is notorious in Mo to deny covering the surgery. Good luck!

I have BC/BS Alliance and our co-pays just went from $10 to $20 and the prescription coverage went down. It's still not bad insurance. They did just turn down my first request for WLS so I'm getting ready to try again. Alliance has a "Policy exclusion" for WLS but I am going to keep trying. Regardless, I am having surgery on May 13th. Good luck and God Bless!
