Question:
My insurance co. received paperwork 8 days ago and still no workd

I would call and find out the status... that is just my opinion. I called my insurance frequently and once the reviewer received my papers, it took her one day to make the decision. Good Luck!

call and check the status--many times they claim they do not have your paperwork--stay behind them---I did and it still took from Nov.19, 2001 to March 15, 2002 and ended with a denial good luck

I had BCBS insurance and they claimed they lost my paperwork, never rec'd it. I think that is their automatic/canned answer they are told to give everyone that requests this surgery - ha! I couldn't believe it, I waited 10 days and called and was given that answer. I then got their fax number, called the surgeon and had them fax over the letter requesting approval again. I then called back in 4 days and was told I was approved and I was in shock :) So like the others said, bug them, bug them, bug them :)

i have cigna ppo and they recieved my file on a thursday i called friday morning to find out if they had recived it and if i was approved yet,,lol yes im very impatient! the customer rep told me to call back in 14 -21 days anyway the weekend seemed to last a lifetime so monday morning lol i called again and again was told to call back in 14 -21 days so i called the next day and instead of telling me to call back they told me i was approved yesterday afternoon(that monday) so the moral of the story is KEEP CALLING!!! good luck to you i know this waiting game is horrible peace n luv
