Question:
I have insurance with two companies, BCBS of Texas HMO, and Principle insurance PPO.

Both companies state in their exclusions that they will not cover ANYTHING to do with weightloss surgery (even if medically necessary.) So, I'm a preparing to fight, but I'm not sure who is lesser of both evils. I'm in Austin Texas, any help is much appreciated.    — Laura W. (posted on February 29, 2000)

I am also fighting bcbs, I tried the texas dept of insurance but they found nothing wrong with bcbs procedures so could not compel them to do the surgary I am looking for more infomation to throw at them, and looking to the media angle through local tv,paper and radio.
