Do you know the insurance code for the Lap RNY--Long Limbed?

I'm having LAP RNY distal procedure code 43846 for the surgery & 47562 for the LAP. Hope this helps.

I received a copy of the letter my doctor wrote to the insurance company, I'm having a Roux Y Divided Gastric Bypass but I'm not sure yet whether it will be proximal or distal, maybe they have the same CPT code? My letter says "CPT code for the equivalent procedure when performed open approach is 43847, there is as yet no such code for the laparoscopic approach. We will be using an unlisted procedure code 43659 for this procedure when we submit the claim for payment. Diagnosis code is 278.01."
