Question:
Post-Op's, what is your experience with costs not covered by insurance?

I would like to know what patients with Blue Cross/Blue Shield, PPO have experienced in out-of pocket expenses not covered by BCBS.    — Betty D. (posted on September 20, 2002)

So far my out cost besides co-pays is 765. for the hospital bill and so far all my following up care with the surgeon, I havent even had to pay my co-pay.

I have Anthem bc/bs and everything has been covered so far after my $250.00 deduct. I have gotten a few denial letters but I call my insurance company and they correct it.
