Question:
Has anyone used Commonwealth PPO insurance for WLS?

If you have used this insurance, also known as Tufts Health Plan, how easy/hard was it to have your surgery covered by this insurance. I am praying that I can get them to cover the cost for me. Thanks for any input I can get.    — Christi M. (posted on September 28, 2001)

Hi Christi, I think that I may have found some good news for you. Go to the top of any page and click on "insurers" and then choose your state, MA. You will get an alphabetical listing for insurance companies that members of this site have listed. If you scroll down, you will find 37 listings for Tufts. There are many different plan names some with your specific one. Everyone of these was approved!! Included with each listing is the members' e-mail addresses. Maybe you could e-mail them your specific questions. Hope this helps. Shelley
