Question:
Well, my question is: what was is it like in the hospital?

I am thinking about the surgery and want to know in detail what it will be like. I will love more info on that. and if you can tell me how long did it take for you to go back to work it will be great.    — Veronica M. (posted on July 13, 2002)

I've chronicled, in two posts.. my hospital and home since surgery stuff.. in my journal if you'd like to look. I think I did them in the last week so you might have to scroll down just a bit. Feel free to ask me any questions. http://www.livejournal.com/users/princessfluff. Good luck.

My hospital stay was much nicer than I ever expected. The nurses were great, most knew my dr and liked him. For some reason I think that gave me better treatment. I had a private room, which in my opinion is a must. A couple of the nurses came in and sat and chatted with me thru out the day, or would take the slow walk with me down the hall. The food is uneventful, liquids, I had nothing but the jello, broth, and electrolite juice was yucky. My back side was sore from not being able to roll over. But strangely enough I never even turned on TV, didnt even notice one in the room till day three. Think positive, bring some fav magazine, sleep when you feel like it, and you will find your stay bearable, if not even enjoyable, Take care,
