Question:
Acordia has approved rny RNY, will medicare cover the balance?

Medicare may pick up your balance after your Acordia. Keep in mind however,
that you can not pre-certify surgery thru Medicare. So most likely your
doctors office will have to supply your primary insurances EOB and the
operative report to Medicare. Sometimes, based on the OP note, Medicare
will deny your surgery. Where I work, in this case I will file an appeal to
Medicare before I will bill the patient. Every office is different. I would
talk to them and see what their procedure is. Good luck! Take care!

Medicare covered what my other insurance didnt cover. I didnt have any out
of pocket costs. I wish you luck with your surgery.
