Has Anyone tried to use Qual Med? getting aproved - Colorado HMO

I have a friend who isn't on the net and whould like to at least beging investigation..She has Qual Med HMO in Colorado..any one know anything about them? De    — Deanna D. (posted on August 22, 1999)

I had Qual-Med & was denied. they said the surgery wasn't covered. We changed ins right after that, put my Dr told me that if you fight hard enough, & have they co-morbid conditions Qual-Med will approve. And then there is always Walter Lindstrom if they still deny.
