Question:
Wanted to know if anyone has Lifeguard Insurance?

Well, I have been researching WLS for about 2 years now..I was in a deadlock with Kaiser so when my company changed insurance companies I jumped on it It is Lifeguard POS/PPO...Wanted to see if anyone has them and what your experinces are with them??? I trully beleive that this procedure is medically necessary..I am 23, 272 pounds and 5'1..that brings my BMI into the 50's.....I have a list of compaints and problems with my body to long to even mention on here and I have tryed numerous diets and magic pills..Through Kaiser you had to go see a dietician so I have already done that to take weekly classes in nutrition and weight loss...IF anyone can give me suggestions on how to get approved that would be great...See with this policy that I have you can switch from being doctor referred or self-directing the only problem with this is..It is 80/20 soyou have to pay 20% of everything and I don't have that kind of money....Do doc's want the money up front or can you be on a payment plan??? Just checking because if they do I can just save myself a lot of heartache if I just went to them directly and got the surgery done with....Thanks in advance for anything that you can help with...    — Dusty S.
