Question:
I have just had to switch to BCBS of Tx PPO. I am a state employee.

Has anyone received approval with this insurance? Has anyone appealed denials and won with this insurance? Thanks for any information.    — [Anonymous] (posted on September 1, 2001)

I have BCBS of Texas PPO....I am a Federal employee, and I don't know if there is a difference in the plans - so I can speak with total authority here - but I was approved by my plan within 48 hours of my very first visit with the Surgeon, had surgery 4 weeks later, and they paid it all.... (well, except for the co-pay, normal stuff)
