Question:
Has anyone been contacted by Unicare HMO to reconsider their denial?

I've heard that they have contacted some insureds who have been denied because WLS is not a covered benefit and told them to submit a psych eval and TSH and resubmit the referral for surgery.    — Merry M. (posted on March 25, 2002)
