Question:
Is there a support group in Dothan, Al for people having WLS?

Pat, there is a support group in Dothan and Ozark. As a matter of fact there is a meeting on the 14th of January in Dothan at the Shoney's on the circle, next to Applebees. People think it shouldn't be at a place where there is food, but has been a good place so far. The Dothan group meets every 2nd Tuesday of the month. The Ozark group meets the 1st Monday of every month. You are welcome to join us, we would be happy to answer any questions you have. I hope to see you there. Angie

This isn't an answer to your question exactly, BUT.. I just had to say hello... I used to live in Dothan, and didn't think I'd ever hear another person who knew where it was!! Whooo boy, I miss the weather down there!!! I'm sittin' in the snow right now. Good luck to you in your journey, I remember feeling sooooooo inferior down there compared to all the pageant queens, and princesses, etc.... Seems like everyone there was a miss-something or another... and with PCB so close, there was always someone wanting to go to the beach.. me? swimsuit? no way... BUT by next year that will be another story!!! Again, good luck to you, and glad I could say hello...
