has anyone had the micropouch surgery?

has anyone had the micro pouch surgery and if so how are you doing with the micro little tummy? i am trying to decide between this and the regular roux en y which is better?    — kathy L. (posted on April 20, 2003)

Yes; I had the surgery on 2-10-03. Dr. Woods performed mine. In my opinion this is the best doctor to perform this surgery, since he co-created it! Go to the website and come to the support meeting on May 14, 2003 before you make a decision to have any other surgery. You'll be glad you did. The micropouch does not stretch over time. I am down 60 lbs. now and doing great!
