Question:
Has anyone had any experiences with Mercy Health Care, HMO (MOSERS)?

My primary ins. is Mercy Health Plans HMO, through Missouri State employers and I also have Medicare Part A (ONLY), due to disability (rhuematoid arthritis). What do you think my chances are?????    — [Anonymous] (posted on August 8, 2000)

Being a State of Missouri employee myself, you may have a good chance. I have United Health Care Select. But you can call mercy and see if surgery is cover. The reason why I think your chances are good is because the state of missouri have a lot of health programs that they like their employees to get involved. If surgery is not covered you should appeal to the Department of Insurance. Since you will have a chance to change insurance for January ask your human resource person about the different type of plans that is available. They also will be having insurance meeting about the different plans avalible also you can call Consolidated Health Care Plan to find out which insurance cover this type of surgery. I hope this help.
