Has anyone used Medicare in Florida

I am 99% sure that Shands Teaching Hospital,University of Florida,in Gainsville,accepts Medicare.I have just begun the process of Weight Loss Surgery. Although there is a DR. who does it here in Melbourne FL.

Yes I found a surgeon in Florida in Gainsville who accepts medicare for W.LS, his name is Erick Thoburn works out of North florida.R.M.Center, I am hoping to have this surgery after the new year
