Question:
What are the Surgeons fees for the RNY procedure?

I am on SS disabilty and have medicare and I will need to the 20% not payable by medicare here in KY the state will pay the 20% to the hospital. I am hoping to have this done by the rightweigh location in Louisville KY    — Gary L. (posted on January 9, 2002)

My surgeon cost $4000, and his assistant cost $1000. Those fees included three months of post-op visits. Im not sure if they all include the post-op visits. Itd be good to ask and find out what the cost includes. Good luck and God bless! : )

Hi Gary! Had my RNY with RightWeigh in Louisville. My total surgeon fees were between 8,000-9,000. I am a private pay/insurance patient so I think the fees were a bit higher. Check with the program because I believe in your case, the fees are reduced. If you want to talk, get in touch with me! Good luck! :)
