Purchasing Individual policies

Hi Renee, I bought BCBS Traditional Blue Individual Policy. I got the policy activated on January 10 and my surgery date is May 23. I live in Michigan. It may be different there. If you look under 'insurers' in your state, on this site, and read who approves the surgery easily, that may help you. I also called the BTC surgeon and asked what insurance is the best. You may want to do that also. Hope this helps!
