Question:
Will health care through medicaid cover my surgery?

I will be getting medicaid this week for my children and myself.I am praying that this inurance will cover this surgery.I definately meet the criteria(being overweight over 100 lbs.)    — [Anonymous] (posted on August 12, 2001)

I too, am on Medical. I get it though my SSI disability and am trying to have this surgery. Just keep pushing, and if you have to appeal and appeal and appeal....keep on keeping on!

Check your state insurance page on this websight. I know in Indiana there have been several who've had it covered, and then there's me who's having troubles, and I've made sure to outline my EVERY step so I hope others can learn. Most people if you ask though are happy to help you with the information if they've been approved and especially when they're fighting it what they've been through. God bless you in your journeys.

Hi my name is chris and on july the 31st I was approved on ohio medicaid so yes it is possible.
