Question:
Can someone help me with a letter to insurance company?

I think my insurance company is discriminating against me---I would appreciate any help I can get with this matter-I am at the end of my rope---they will pay for drug rehab and for being a drunk---but won't cover my disease    — Linda L. (posted on April 26, 2002)

I read your profile and I too had problems with BlueCross/BlueShield and their 12 months of dr supervised diet. Like we have never tried to diet before?. Mine was with Anthem BC/BS of Ind/Ohio but sounds like the same type of problems. After being denied and again denied on a level 1 appeal, I hired Walter Lindstrom to handle my level 2 appeal. They approved me within 3 days of getting his 28 page appeal letter covering all kinds of legal aspects. I would highly recommend hiring him, it only cost me $350 and was worth every cent. Now am 7.5 weeks post-op and down 54 lbs. Good luck.
