Question:
Response From Insurance Not Received As Promised, What Should I Do?

I received a letter from my insurnace company stating I would have an answer to my appeal for gastric bypass surgery on by the 12th of March. Today is the 17th of March, and no word. Cigna PPO. what should I do?    — julie B. (posted on March 17, 2003)

Well I would feally like to be able to tell you what to do but I am in the exact same boat with the exact same insurer. I have kept a log of everytime I have called them, who I spoke with and what I was told by each person I spoke to. My request had gone in Stat and they were supposed to get back to me within 24 -72 hours. Obviously they did not. let me know what happens with you. good luck! Robin
