anyone recently approved by kaiser in L.A.??
I recieved an approval for surgery last week to UCLA Santa Monica but their was no info as to who to call or what to do anyone out there who can help?? — cathie M. (posted on December 15, 2002)

Hi Cathie,
Which Kaiser are you working out of? If you are at the hollywood area
there's a surgery coordinator who does all the paperwork after your PCP has
your testing done. His name is Rob Peterson in care management. You can
call the regular 800 number and the operator should be able to connect you.
Congratulations on your upcoming surgery, I'm hoping to have mine done
soon as well (just waiting for my call from Rob). Best of luck to

update from my earlier post..I found out i did get approved on the 5th of
Dec, they never called me. So now I'm waiting for my latter in the mail to
set up the surgeon consult. Best of luck..I'd love to hear when your date
is Cathie, since we are in the same area....aimee

thanks for your reply I have gotten more info since I posted and have a
date to meet with Dr. glantz in march I have spoken to Rob and kim at ucla
so now its back to waiting. I am with kaiser playa vista in the marina area
good luck and keep me posted with your updates.
