Has anyone recvd approval from Aetna HMO in 2004

Well, not in 2004, but close. I received my approval from my Aetna HMO 11/03/03. My surgery was postponed (by my surgeon's office) from November to January 12, 2004. Aetna approved the date change. I had my surgery 9 days ago and an Aetna nurse even called me a few days ago to see how I was doing. Good luck! I know it's frustrating dealing with the insurance.

I used a lawyer after a denial. I was fed up. Email gary viscio at [email protected] He's my saviour.

I was approved by Aetna HMO and am scheduled for surgery on 1/26/04. Despite some of the horror stories I have heard about some insurance companies, I have been pleased with Aetna and everything has gone smoothly so far. Theresa S
