Question:
Has anyone with Wal-Mart Insurance had approval for surgery?

My sister is interested in having surgery, but she has said that Wal-Mart absolutely does NOT pay. Has anyone been suc-cessful in getting them to pay?    — S P. (posted on April 24, 2001)

I work for Sam's club (same thing) and in the health summary it states: Charges not covered the treatment of obesity or morbid obesity, including gastric bypasses, stapling producedures and panniculectomy procedures, even if conditions which might be hepled by the reduction of weight:( It is an air tight clause. However during open enrollment you can choose another health care plan for more money but you will have better luck getting the surgery. Dana
