Eva had her surgery on 9-6-01 at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. She went into pre-op @ 1129am...into surgery @ 100pm. The operation was done @ 535pm. She slept in recovery til about 830pm. She got to her room @ 900pm. She got to stand up and take a few steps, but she was still groggy, tired and a bit sore. Friday the 7th was a wonderful day. She got to take *several* laps around her floor of the hospital. She was in great spirits and the Dr told her that she did amazing and she'd be released on Saturday the 8th around 11am. Saturday the 8th is where we are now. :-) Eva was released from the hospital this morning @ 11am :-) YAHOO!! She looks & feels good. Her back is sore from laying down so much, but her attitude is so good.
