Hi all, Hi. I'm now two weeks post-op and doing well. Anyone who says this doesn't hurt was either unconscious the whole two weeks post-op or has better pain meds. I had some incredibly bad pain during the first week post-op, both incision/surgery type pain and gas pain, which I almost lost my mind over! Mylanta liquid is the way to go, I think, because the GasX chewables did nothing for me. My hubby is going back to work next week, at the three week mark, but I have family coming to help me care for the kids, since I can't lift yet. I'm getting very impatient with my liquid-only diet, and am SO ready to eat solids. I'm going to follow recommendations, though, and wait until the 42-day mark, ANOTHER WHOLE 28 DAYS. Argh. I guess I'll have to rely on these staples the rest of my life, so I don't want to blow it. Anyway, thanks for all the prayers and well-wishing. It paid off -- I'm doing fine. Jodi.
