I had a Lap GBP in August 2001 and have been at my goal weight for 6 months now. I've lost 110 lbs total in 18 months. I was very pleased with the outcome of my surgery performed by Dr. Wayne English in Florida and am looking forward to plastic surgery by Dr. Don Revis in a couple of months. Both surgeons are wonderful and I've had a very positive experience.

I had my surgery performed by Dr. Wayne English in Florida and have had a very positive outcome. There wasn't a lot of "forced" follow up care, I admit, but I didn't seek it out either. I didn't throw up once, so I didn't go back for a lot of follow up. I feel very lucky to have had Dr. English perform the surgery and am sure I couldn't have had a better outcome. I have since experienced some gastritis, but got back on daily Prevacid and have been free of that for 6 months. The gastritis is probably stress and diet related anyway, but is a small price to pay to lose the weight I couldn't drop any other way. I'd highly recommend this doctor.
