I had the Lap MGB done on December 10th 1999. So far I have lost 40 lbs. (Jan 25th) I had it done by Dr Rutledge in Durham, NC. Anyone who has questions email me.

4-26-00
I am now at 220# I started out at 309#. I am feeling great and doing wonderful. I have lost 13 inches in my waist also!!

6-14-00
I am now 204#. Weight loss is really slowing down compared to at the beginning but I am happy here. My waist went from 51 inches and is now 36 inches!!

7-17-00
I am now 190#. Loving the weightloss!! My waist is now 33 inches! I wear a size 16 in plus sizes and a 18 in misses sizes. Never thought I would see numbers in the teens in my pant size!

10-23-00
I am now 175#. I feel terrific!!! WLS was my only hope and I ma glad I went through with it. I cannot put words to how great I feel. I am currently wearing a size 14 and some 12's. I also wear larges NO XL for me!! Yipee!! No more plus sizes either!!

I am now 155#. Doing great. I wear a size 10 now a few 12's still. I am going to go to an amusement park this summer! I know I will fit in the rides again!!!
