Had my laproscopic roux-en y gastric bypass surgery with Dr. Edward Felix in Fresno on July 11, 2001. I lost 100 lbs in the first 10 months. It's now been 15 months and I've lost 108 lbs. I feel great and couldn't be happier!

I liked him. My opinion of him only got better after my first appt. with him. His staff is wonderful The thing I liked least was the 2 1/2 hour wait in the waiting room for my initial consul;tation. Patients should allow 3 to 4 hours for the initial consultation visit because the wait inhis waiting room can be extremely long. He emphsizes aftercare and does have a structured aftercare program. He addressed all the risks of surgery. I rate him excellent overall. I think he is better at surgical competence than he is at bedside manner. He is so busy that I felt his bedside manner was rushed.

DR. FELIX'S OFFICE DID ALL THE INSURANCE STUFF AND IT WENT PERFECTLY. I WAS APPROVED AFTER THE FIRST LETTER TO THEM. DR. FELIX'S OFFICE DID ALL THE INS. BILLING AND OTHER PAPER WORK AND I DIDN'T HAVE TO DO ONE THING.
