6/11/2001 Hello my name is Andrea. I am 21 years old and weigh 260 pounds. I am really excited about getting this surgery. I recieved good news that I've been approved. I just got done with all the testing. Now I'm waiting for the results and a call from the doctor to tell me my surgery date.
6/27/01 Wow only two more weeks! I'm getting really excited but scared. I can't wait until its over with so I can start my new life.

9/20/01 - Well I got the surgery done on July 11th 2001. I am feeling great. I have lost 46 pounds since the surgery. I didn't have any complications. I thought afterwards I was going to be in a lot of pain but I wasn't. Don't get me wrong my stomach was very sore but the morphine did wonders. I am so happy I went through with it.

1/21/02 - I am down to 184 now and I feel great! Thank you Dr. Fobi!

7/15/02 - Well its been 1 year since my surgery. I can't believe its been a year. Well I am down to 157 pounds and I'm fitting into a size 10! I am so happy I had the surgery. I'm now looking into getting a tummy tuck. Well I'll try to keep my page updated.

My first impression of Dr. Fobi was that he was a very busy man and I didn't think I'd really get to talk to him before the surgery. I was wrong about not talking to him before the surgery. He talked to me about all the concerns I had and he went over all the risks in having the surgery. All the doctors and nurses at his office and hospital were all so nice and very helpful. I would recommend him to anybody.
