Hi I am Joyce Davis from Dacula, GA. I had the RNY GASTRIC BYPASS March 28, 2002. I started off at 361 lbs. and today February 27th 2003, just 11 months later, I weigh 173 lbs. I have lost a total of 188 lbs. I feel better than ever, and although the RNY may not be for everyone, it was a lifesaver to me. Thank you Dr. Christopher Hart and Dr. Jacqueline Pearson(my PCP) who recommended me for this surgery. My life is so good now. I can do things now thin people just take for granted. I can cross my legs, and put one leg behind the other one. Now that is wonderful. Truly life is better, and remember NO ONE can decide for you, it has to be your decision, afterall, no one knows what it feels like to walk in your shoes, BUT YOU. May GOD bless you all.
