Hey Tina-It really sounds as if you are doing great. You know how you have buyer's remorse after you go out and buy something really big-like a car, a super duper stereo or a really stunning outfit.Well maybe you could have done without those things and you feel kinda bad about spending the money. Well, it sounds as if you are having a little buyer's remorse about the surgery. That will certainly pass. Keep your resolve strong; the surgery is not something that any of us could do without.I am so glad that you are post-op. May God continue to hold you in the hollow of His hand so that you may have the strength you need and that your safe, speedy recovery will progress. Have a protein drink for me! Be well. Lorraine

Hi all, I am unable to post to the board again. If someone can email me a link directly to post I would appreciate it. Someone did before but it got lost on my pc. I go to get my staples out tommorow. I am 100% pain free. Surgery was on 1/21 and the last pain meds I took was regular strength tylenol on 1/27 and that was preventitive because I had to go on a treck to visit ms. Beth in the hospital and wanted to feel nice to do so. I went on a 1.6 mile walk today, well that was the trail in the woods, had to walk to get to the start and back from the end so was actually longer, needless to say I feel great. I am getting in all vitamins, protein shakes and at least 2 meals a day, but have been skipping the third meal. Now the mental crap is starting, I am just convinced this is not going to work for me. I know I have lost at least 20 lbs (had hubby hide the scale yesterday). But I still feel like I am going to fall on my face!!

Dear Tina~~~~Congratulations on your uneventful surgery and I am so very glad that you are home. Take everything slow and easy; you don't have anyone's timetable but your own. Keep your resolve strong and everyday will be a little better. May God continue to hold you and your husband in the palm of His hand. Be well. Lorraine
