Good Luck Susanne! In just a few short days you will join the "losing" side. Remember to keep good thoughts and breathe deep -- it really helps. Like you, I was addicted to my diet sodas, Diet Coke to be exact. The dietian told me to get off them early so I wouldn't have a caffine headache after the surgery. When I told my surgeon's nurse, she laughed and asked why, since you are on pain meds after the surgery.

Hi Jen, Best of luck to you on your upcoming surgery!! I remember how happy, nervous, scared and excited I was just before mine. It is the best thing u can do for yourself, it is hard in the beginning but you'll do GREAT! You're in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi Jen. Your doctor's aftercare worries me. You should not have to be paying $5,000 but I know how badly you want the surgery. There are other weight loss surgeons in Miami that don't charge that. Please e-mail me if you have any questions, good luck!!
