5/19/02- Well I am now 5 weeks post-op and am feeling fine. I must say I am somewhat surprised with the difficulty I am having eating. What use to be fun is down-right horrible. This is what I was hoping for, I guess. I am now awaiting the loss weight. At my first Dr visit which was approximately 2 weeks after surgery I was 25 lbs down. Since then it seem the weight loss is slower. That frustrates me as my food intake has been significantly less. I have added excersize to my program, riding a stationary bike, in an effort to burn more calories. My surgery however went very well and so did the healing. I go back to work in one week and pray I feel as well as I feel today.
