I have been overweigt all my life. At this weight for the past 10 years. I started with diets at the age of 9. I loose weight and gain it right back. I have tried just about everything.

11/28/03 I am now 4 1/2 months post op and am down 83 pounds!! I have 37 pounds to my goal (I won't complain about more).

12/28/03 I am 5 1/2 months post op and have lost 95 pounds. I was so happy to see a 1 in front of my weight for the first time in 13 years!!!

7/19/04 Well it has been one year and I have lost 135 pounds!! Thats 15 more than my doctors original goal for me. I have also had my insurance approve my reconstructive surgury for the removal of the excess skin on my belly!!!!

I really liked Dr. Currie and all of his staff. The staff was very supportive and helpful right after surgery. I had questions and would call them and they knew what to tell me to help me through the problem. It took a while to get in to see Dr. Currie, but it was worth the wait. I never saw Dr. Currie while I was in the hospital because he left the day after to get married. All of the other doctors I saw were terrific.
