Since I have not had surgery yet, I can only describe my first thoughts about Dr. Fallang. I enjoyed his seminar and found it to be quite informative. I really liked his manner and personality. He seemed to answer all questions and had a lot of information to offer. His staff has been very helpful and nice so far. The only thing I have encountered to this point that I haven't liked is the fact that some patients get an earlier surgery date before they even have insurance approval. I was approved on February 29 and had my date of May 9 set. I was told that was the earliest. Then I got online and talked to 2 different people that have surgery dates before me and still do not have definite insurance approval yet. This sort of upsets me. I keep calling for a cancellation date and I did get moved up to May 2. I just was hoping for April. I am sure they have very good reasons for doing this, but that doesn't mean I particularly like it.

I was surprised at how easy it was. I did not have to call them repeatedly. My doctor's office basically handled everything. All I had to do was get a referral from my primary doctor and present my medical records and weight loss methods tried over the last 5 years.
