As I was going for all the preop test I needed, I was very afaid the insurance would deny me. But now that they havent, now the fear switched to the operation. I am really looking forward to it, and it is now in gods hands, and the doctors too of course.

Surgeon: Gary Pearlstein, M.D.
My first impression of Dr. Pearlstein is that he was cocky. I felt weird, but after several visits, I relized he is very sure of himself and he knows he is a good surgeon. He was very honest with everything that could go wrong with the operation, and yet I felt so comfortable and totally trusted him with my life. I think that self assureness he carries is what I have mistake for cockness. I'm glad I chose him, and would do it again in a heart beat.
His nurse Linda made me feel at ease, and she is one of the friendliest people going.
she is very helpful and informative about the procedure.
Heidi the secretary, is also a wonderful person. She was right there on top of things taking care of all my insurance needs. She is very friendly and all of his staff is an asset to his office.
I not only got the attention after the surgery, but he is great with the on going care, and had organized a support group for all those who have had the surgery, and those who are thinking about it. This group not only give the doctors point of veiw, but also allows new patients to hear the good along with everything that went wrong with their surgeries. I had a few complications myself, but Im glad he was my doctor.
I highly recommend Dr. Pearlstein, you wont find someone more caring.
Now that I am 2 months post op, I will say the same thing. I recommend this doctor to anyone looking for one. He is very concerned about his patients, and he takes no risk. If there is even the slightest chance of something being wrong, he will find it.

I had done all the test and my paper work that the doctor requested. It took less than one week to be approved. It was submitted the Friday through a fax on December 20th, and I received an approval letter in the mail on the 29th. An excellent newyears present. I believe because all my medical data on file proved all that was wrong with me, it made things go alot easier.
