It took me 6 months to decide to updat, but here it is. I am now 6 months post op and have lost 108 lbs..I have the greatest surgeon in Portland, but of course I am partial.
If I had to do it all again I would do it in a minute. I started this journey at 326 lbs, I am a whole new person now.
I enjoy walking, bending over to tie my shoes, crossing my legs,
laughing without wetting myself, and the new life I have been given.

My first impression was great!! No he is wonderful.. Very freindly and helpful.. I am very happy not only with the way the surgery was explained, but also very happy with the aftercare I have recieved. I would definately reccomend him to others...Now that I have dealt with Dr. Friedman for 6 months I need to add that he is compassionate, caring, and although he is quiet he has a great sense of humor. The best advice I have for you is ask questions. If you dont ask you won't know! Dr. Friedman has great followup care, he takes a special interest in all of his patients, I find him easy to talk to and relate to. As far as his competence my husband and I were thrilled with his ability, to the point that my husband had him do his hernia surgery.
