    Dr. Anez is quiet . His physician asst Maria does most of the post-op consultations and follow- up w/ the nutritionist is important ( Linda Aills). But, I can tell you that the incision is perfect and no complications post - op 1 month! Office staff is extremely busy, but efficient. They get to know you more as time goes by! If you are considering gastric bypass surgery, then I would highly recommend Dr. Anez! His program is very organized w/ a support group called "The Staple Club " . I had my surgery June 11, 2002.

    I had to get approval from my pcp, which was not supposed to be needed. I had to get a psychological evaluation. This was told to me two weeks before surgery and almost had to have it cancelled! I was approved for the procedure, but not the hospital stay. They were contracted w/ Intracorp which reviews all hospital stays/ surgeries.
