Here it is over 9 years sibnce I had my gastric bypass surgery! I would do it all over again. I have kept off the 100 pounds that I lost. Sure, I still have to continue to watch what I eat. I gained about 50 pounds about 4 or 5 years ago, but I got back on the ball & lost it all again & have now been at my current weight again for over 2 years!

It has been just over 3 months since I had my surgery. I am down over 60# & 3-4 clothing sizes. I am really happy & feel great. I feel that this was the best thing I ever did for myself. I can almost eat everything I try. The only change is the amount is much smaller. It is very difficult to drink the protein, & my hair has been falling out for about 2 weeks. I can live with that although. I am looking forward to this summer.

It's been 2 weeks & I am starting to feel good. I am actually getting to eat better foods. It's still hard to drink enough liquids, especially since I have started some "real" food like mashed potatoes, cream of wheat & baby food. I have come a long way since 2 weeks ago. I have lost over 20# so far. I haven't weighed for a week although.

This is day 7 & it is still pretty rough. I came home the 3rd day & have been getting around pretty slow. Kinda hard to get in all my liquids. Still pretty sore too. Look forward to getting better real soon!!!

Now the time has come for your surgery, and I know you are nervous. Just keep in mind, there are alot of people out here praying for you. Although most of us don't know one another in person, there is alot of support here on this site, and I wish you the very best. Good Luck and God Bless. I wish you a speedy recovery, and a great deal of weight loss. :)

I have only 36 hours left til surgery, & I am getting slightly nrevous. I took Fleets Phospha Soda & feel kinda sick now. It's scary to think I could feel like this every day after surgery, but I am praying for the best. I know this is the best thing for me now & I am very anxiuos to get it done!!
