Marya Hi I have just read your personal Comment and wanted to tell you I am going to pray for you for a speedy recover and I feel in my heart this is going to be the best thing for you,I myself am going to try to have it I don't think I can go on like this so I know how yout feeling and may god bless you and be with you all the way, With you on your journy holding your hand throw it all best of lucky on your wls please keep us al posted,Marya you have god on your side and thats all it take hoping to be hearing from you soon as u can post,I hope you have got inspiration for your surgery from all of u,Iam saying a prayer for you Good bless you. Best wishes on your upcoming surgery. We both wish you all the luck in the world with your recovery too. We BOTH had open rny's in 2001. Mine (Doug, aka: OLD RODEO CLOWN PANTS) was in Oct and I have lost 215 lbs. My sweet wife, Nancy, had her surgery in June and she has lost 110 lbs. We both invite you to read our profiles and hope that maybe you can get some inspiration from them, but NO PROMISES!!!! Just remember that YOU WILL SUCCEED!!!!! In all things Remember,that the one above loves you,that He holds us all in his loving arms,He knows each of us by name.He said anything you ask for in "my name" will be given to you.So in His name I pray for you,that you be given strength, endurance,love,peace and most of all long life.In Jesus' name. I have just one day basically. I am upset because some women with some study came by to do this. But, she said it would only take 30 minutes. It took four long hours. Dipping into my past of being a survivor of assault it made it difficult to talk about. I told her. But, she really did not seem to care as i was tearfull and crying about talking about this. It stressed me out to say the least. It is suppose to be a voluntary type deal. Yeah right. They shove it down your throat. I FELT LIKE I WAS GIVING UP PART OF ME AS SHE ENJOYED HEARING IT. I TOLD HER THAT I WAS HAVING SURGERY AND I DID NOT WANT TO GO IN THERE UPSET THINKING ABOUT THE PAST. THIS IS WHAT IT DOES TO ME. HOWEVER, SHE COULD CARE LESS. ALL SHE WANTED WAS TO DO WHAT SHE CAME FOR. I DO NOT KNOW HOW I GOT PUT ON THIS LIST TO DO THIS, BUT I WILL TELL HER NEXT TIME-I REFUSE..... I AM LEAVING THIS TO GOD. I CAN NOT DEAL WITH IT. THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT.

Hi Marya, I know that you are concerned about having pain after your surgery and I am glad that you are able to face your fears and actually talk them out with your family and doctor. I will keep you in my prayers that God will touch you and bring you safely over to the losing side. Your new life is about to begin!! May it be long and healthy! Pre-0p scheduled for 4/30/03. Lisa
