I am pre-op with Dr. Robert Marema (haven't seen him yet) My date is July 11th.
I'd love to hear from others in the area who had surgery by him.
Because of an existing hernia I have to have open. Oh well!

Had surgery 7/11/01, I was terrified. It went very easily. No problems so far. I'm
I'm 3 weeks post op, lost 30 pounds so far. I'm allowed 1 1/2 ounces of protien a meal.
Sugar free pops are great. Herb tea, sugar free jello. I have to wait 90 minutes after a meal for any liquids, which all of those treats are.

I will be able to add beef this week. So far fish, chicken, cottage cheese and eggs.
Not bad.

    It was easy. They claimed they never received my records. I called the Doc. his Secy. faxed them. No problem. Make certain they have your file. They will have to move on it if you follow up. Always follow up, and take names. Remember with whom you spoke. My first call I spoke to a woman who had the surgery herself. What a pleasure.
