Blue Cross, Health Options First letter submitted 12-05-02. Made several calls to the insurer. I talked to several representatives who advised no letter of approval for the surgery received. Called the surgeons office, spoke with the clerk. She confirmed that the BC/BS does have the information. Called BC/BS 12-31-02. Spoke with Michelle who advised nurse authorized outpatient surgery at the surgeon's office. She gave me a medical clearance number to have the coordinator call and reference this number with an inpatient place of service for North Florida Regional Medical Center. Evertime I call BC/BS it seems that I get nothing but the run around.

Angel coming in for crash landing! Here to report all is well with Susan, Her hubby told me that all went very well. I have not been able to get through to talk to her personaly, however I have talked to her voice mail and she probably has no desire to even talk to anyone at this moment. I recal that in the hospital in May 2002 I cut my cell phone off and also cut the ringer off for the one in the room! I did not like anyone! I slept through company cause I was in so much discompfort...NOW LISTEN! That is not being negative... I would do this all over again in a Nwe York Minute for sure! All the pain of this Journey has been well worth it! NO PAN NO GAIN! "Old saying" Hugs to you Susan and I can not wait to see you at the house next week! Just look at it this way the hard part is over, now you just need to learn new behaivors! YOu will be a testamony for others now. Blessings girl. Hugs to all! Celeste

Susan, congratulations on this exciting part of your journey. Remember that a short period of discomfort will all be worth it in the end (at least that's what I'm telling myself 2 days preop lol). Take good care and post when you can. We are all sending you good surgery and easy healing vibes!
