I have been overweight all my life, and I want the next 30 years to be fulfilling. I do not want my weight to be a factor in my life decisions. I want a "no holds barred" mentality...I want no regrets. And honestly, I need help. I am very thankful for the opportunity to have WLS. Thank you Dr. Kerlakian.

Aug 21, 2005:

I had my surgery on May 10, 2005. I weighed 320lbs day of surgery, and 270lbs today. I have lost 50lbs. Thank God! I am now in a size 22 jeans. (Down from a 28). It has not been easy, but it has been the best thing I have done for myself. I am now off all Hypertensive Medication and I feel Great! I work out 3 times a week and have never felt better. Stay tuned for upcoming photos.

    Surgeon: George Kerlakian, M.D.
My first impression of Dr. Kerlakian was genuine concern. He really wants to help people. His office staff is very friendly and supportive. What I liked the most about him was he was to the point. He didn't hide the risks and he wanted to make sure that I was emotionally ready for the surgery. That told me that he cared about the patients. His staff visited me in the hospital. I just came home today 5/12/05. All the staff told me to call with any questions. I know that the door is open if I have any problems. I would recomend him to anyone that is considering WLS. He is a true Godsend, he has open doors to change my life. I can never thank him or his staff enough.
