At this time I am seeking Gastric Bypass Surgery at MaGee Womens Hospital/UPMC,Pittsburgh, Pa.

My testing is completed, insurance BC/BS has approved the surgery after first letter.My surgery date is January 26. I cannot believe the time has finally arrived. Of course I have some mixed emotions. But mostly peace in knowing a new journey will be beginning in a week and 1 day.

Know this female is truly thankful that this surgery is available to me. As of now I am 49 years of age and have battled obesity since the age of 8.
