Scheduled for surgery on July 11, 2000. Very excited. Not too nervous because it is two months away. Probably will get nervous as it approaches. I have never had surgery before. I have asthma and mild sleep apnea. Met Dr. Scott in Wentzville on April 26th, for my Pre-Op checkup and he said I was a perfect candidate. Will be having an Open RNY. I am 27 years old and will be married to my loving and caring wife 5 years in December.

Weighed myself yesterday and am now down 46 lbs. So now I am at 441. It's coming off! I'm shrinking! It's been fairly easy to stick to the rigid schedule of drinking and drinking and walking. I am feeling excellent and can't wait to give you my next update!

Very nice Doctor. Office staff is very courteous, especially Janet Duce. They recommend that patients attend support groups after and before the surgery. I am going to try and get in touch with one here in the Kansas City metro area.
